Design Module

General

[Enhanced] The clarity of graphics in the Help system—especially the on-line version—has been improved.

[Enhanced] All reports now include a "Printed" date and time instead of just the date.

Object List

[Fixed] When users attempted to open the Objects screen, the system unexpectedly requested user input, then crashed.*

Specifications

[Enhanced] The "Price" column in the Specification list now displays locked prices in boldface.

[Fixed] Utilities> Pricing Tool: The Process command unexpectedly requested user input when clicked, then crashed. This bug only affected the Process command, not the Process/Close command on that utility.*

[Fixed] Utilities> Pricing Tool: There were issues with the new option to use an active query on the Specifications screen, possibly affecting other specifications. This has been resolved. Other methods of specifying the scope of specifications to include worked properly.

[Fixed] Utilities> Assign Supplier: This command unexpectedly requested user input when clicked, then crashed.*

[Fixed] The "Adjustments" pop-up was not displaying the total cost (net cost) amount correctly, although the correct values were being stored in the data.

[Fixed] The Help section for the Utilities> Status Check command was incomplete.

*These issues only affected an early release of version 4.2.026 and were Fixed in a later build of  that version and in the follow-up interim release, 4.2.027 (for anyone who had already installed the first .026 version). The current version is the official release that includes all of them.

Purchasing Module

(These only apply if you have the Design/Purchasing version)

FF&E Worksheet

[Enhanced] The Order... command now displays the number of orders that will be created from the chosen scope of Worksheet items. You can check this against the number of orders you expect from the vendors, suppliers and shipping addresses involved.

The Order... command's "Components to Order" display now shows the total quantity for each specification instead of separating the quantities when the same spec is used in more than one object within the chosen scope. This makes it easier to verify that the total quantity being ordered is the expected amount.

Exception: Quantities are still separated if they are being shipped to a different address (and will appear on a separate order because of that). Also, the quantities will still be separated by object usage within the order itself if that option is chosen.

The "Components to Order" display's "Addr" column has been relabeled as "Ship To" and now displays the vendor to which a product will be shipped if the destination is not "Site" or "???" if no destination has been chosen. This will improve your ability to catch products for which an alternate shipping address needs to be selected.

Order List

[Enhanced] The special item types for "Additional Freight" and "Additional Tax" can now be edited if necessary. For those that were pre-paid with a deposit balance, changes to the amount will update the "Deposit Applied" balance.

If a special item needs to be deleted on an issued order, you do not need to clear the "shipped" and "delivered" information first (restrictions still apply if it has already been processed on a balance request or invoice). Any deposits used to pre-pay deleted special items will be restored.

[Fixed] Items Screen: The Refresh command worked correctly, but displayed the catalog cost instead of the "Net Cost" when informing the users of a difference between the original specification and the order item.

[Fixed] Items Screen: If 1) an item was deleted from an issued order (which clears all values) and then 2) subsequently replaced by using the Import option on this screen, the tax rate and (if applicable) purchasing fee % were left at zero due to the system "protecting" the zeroed rates from the deletion. Replaced items now automatically use the order's tax rate and project's purchasing fee % as the initial value. If either differ from the "default" values, they are flagged with a red note to aid in verification.

Processing

[Fixed] On the Enter Vendor Final Invoices screen, the "Additional Tax" special item was not displaying in the correct color if vendor invoice information had been included when it was created.

Expediting

[Enhanced] The Update Order Status command's option for resetting vendor invoice entries now allows you to optionally reset items on that order from a specific vendor invoice. The invoice numbers that are available are determined by the item that is currently highlighted. This can be used to correct a specific use of the Processing> Enter Vendor Final Invoices command.

If you use this command to reset an invoice that was specifically entered as part of creating a pre-paid "special item" (such as a freight-only invoice), it will also clear any payment information that was entered, since that type of entry also skips the balance check request process.

[New] A new "Total Paid" field appears at the bottom of the "Financials" section, showing the total of deposits and other payments applied to the item. If the total invoiced for that item has been paid, this field will appear boldfaced in green.

Check Requests

[Fixed] The "Check Request (Reprint) was not including balance payments in the payments to-date when that option was selected and not displaying the correct deposit paid if more than one check request was reprinted in the same run. The normal (processing) version of this format was not affected.
